The Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital dermatology residency program provides a well-rounded comprehensive education in all facets of dermatology, with leaders in the fields of medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology. Unique specialty clinics include cutaneous lymphoma, melanoma, GVHD, and itch. Additionally, a dedicated inpatient consult service and a close relationship with a large VA medical center afford residents the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings. The program seamlessly integrates education in basic science and clinical dermatology with relationships with researchers in immunology, cutaneous oncology and neurobiology. The program has experienced significant growth over the last several years with the addition of academic clinicians, clinician-scientists and bench researchers. We also offer one of the nation's most comprehensive physician-scientist training programs, which enhance the education of all residents.
