Internal Medicine Residency Program · San Antonio, TX
At UT Health San Antonio we take great pride in our teaching program and are firmly committed to the highest standards for education and clinical care. The success of our program is due in large part to our educational philosophy that makes resident teaching our highest priority. With an individualized approach, we have successfully placed our residents in highly competitive fellowships, academic medicine careers, and urban and small-town practices. We practice in two hospital settings with complementary patient populations, thus, increasing patient diversity without over-burdening residents with multiple hospital systems to master. Our learning climate is open, supportive and encourages the full growth potential of each trainee. Faculty, residents, and students work together with staff at both hospitals as teams are fully engaged in learning and the care of our patients.
