At Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, our Orthopaedic Residency Program offers training within one of the world's most diverse patient populations. Residents benefit from extensive exposure to all orthopedic subspecialties, mastering patient management in both hospital and outpatient settings. Our residents have a good understanding of what they want to pursue during fellowship and are routinely placed at the most competitive subspecialty fellowships post-graduation. Training in basic and clinical research is fundamental to advancing orthopedics, and we take pride in providing ample support for our 35 residents, more than one-third of whom are women, to achieve numerous publications and scientific accomplishments before graduation. Our faculty are eager to share their expertise and are highly approachable. Each resident is paired with a mentor and has access to over 60 faculty members, fostering a collaborative learning environment. We are committed to developing outstanding orthopedic surgeons through a comprehensive blend of clinical training and research excellence.
