Barrow Neurological Institute’s neurology residency program is the southwest’s premier academic neurology program, through our mission of training the next generation of leaders. Our clinical training platform leverages extraordinary facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, bolstered by the support and mentorship of outstanding clinicians across various divisions, exposing trainees to a full-spectrum of neurological conditions – from common to rare. Serving our community as a safety net hospital, we provide a free clinic at St. Vincent de Paul, San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation clinic, and telestroke program for the Indian Health Service. We provide care to an underserved group of brain injury patients through our first-of-its-kind domestic violence brain injury program. Our Barrow Global Neurology Program provides trainees an opportunity to develop careers in global neuroscience. Our faculty members are dedicated to performing cutting-edge research, providing enriching training experiences in a collegial environment, positioning our trainees for a highly successful career in neurology.
