Urology Residency Program · Kansas City, KS
The University of Kansas Urology residency is a 5-year program with five residents per year and two separate track options- traditional and rural. In addition to the primary site at the University of Kansas Hospital, residents also obtain experience at Veterans Administration system, Children’s Mercy Hospital, University Health Truman Medical Center, and Cameron Regional Medical Center. The rural track resident will additionally rotate at Olathe Medical Center. Each resident will have a total of 3 months of protected research time to further their investigative skills. Every sub-specialty has multiple faculty with expertise from whom residents have the opportunity to learn world-class urology. Our graduates are prepared for any job whether that is private practice or the top fellowships and go on to become leaders throughout the country.
