The Loma Linda University Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program offers outstanding education in a large academic tertiary setting while maintaining a more intimate small program feel. Our aim is to train exceptional physicians who will provide compassionate, comprehensive, and competent care to the whole person, including the physical, mental and spiritual dimensions of their diseases, whether as a generalist or a subspecialist. This training of potential future faculty, will take place in a variety of settings including a tertiary/quaternary care center, children’s hospital, a VA hospital, a county hospital, and optional elective rotations in resource poor regions of the world.
