McLaren Flint Anesthesiology program is a new, innovative program established in 2022. The residents of our program have daily microlearning opportunities, exposure to recent literature, and grand rounds from nationally known speakers in addition to lectures, journal club, and M&M. Our clinical training is robust with our residents having early and consistent exposure to a wide variety of cases. As a four-year program, we incorporate our PGY1 residents into our didactic sessions and the first year concludes with two months of general anesthesia to help transition to the CA1 year. The area served by our hospital is diverse which allows for interaction with patients of varying backgrounds.
