The University of Utah Division of Urology is situated in Salt Lake City at the foot of the Wasatch Mountain range. Our growing faculty encompasses the breadth of urology with experts in all of the sub-specialty disciplines. The surgical volume—per resident—ranks highly in all areas. The 14 core faculty, almost all fellowship-trained, span the range from seasoned (average tenure = 26 years) to new, young, and fresh. Residents rotate at university, cancer, pediatric, VA, and private hospitals—what a range! But what we’re really about is trying to find the sweet spot between a productive, high-paced, high quality educational program and the family-friendly lifestyle of one of America’s most livable cities.
