Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage
• Handling GI consults from the ED and inpatient floors
• Focus on adult patients

Schedule

• 24-hour call-only responsibility
• No clinic or scheduled hours
• Sporadic dates still available September through December
• Choose from weekday or weekend call blocks

Procedures and Cases

• Cases include general GI consultations and admissions
• Handle an average of 0-3 patients and 0-5 phone consults per call period
• Routine bread-and-butter GI procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Must hold an active Missouri state license
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS
• Minimum of 24 months of experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Temporary privileges are available to expedite your start
• Credentialing timeframe is 30-90 days
