OB Hospitalist Locums - North Carolina, 24-Hour Shifts
Inpatient-only OB coverage in North Carolina with 24-hour call, manageable volume, and travel included.
Highlights:
- 5–15 shifts/month; PRN coverage style
- 24-hour shifts with average of 2 hours of callback
- Ongoing need; dates available throughout the year
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient only; no outpatient responsibilities
- Level 1 nursery with peds and anesthesia in-house
- 275 annual deliveries; about 1 delivery per day
- EPIC and OBIX for fetal monitoring
Schedule:
- 24-hour in-house call shifts
- All shifts end by 6am next day unless noted
- Flexible monthly volume; pick the number of shifts that work for you
Cases and Procedures:
- All deliveries including VBACs
- Standard OB/GYN consults and rounding
- Forceps only if necessary; not required
- Family planning consults optional
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active North Carolina license
Travel Accommodations:
- Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage fully covered
