This coastal OB/GYN locums assignment is based in San Luis Obispo, California.

Highlights

• Up to full-time assignment
• Mix of clinic backup and hospital call
• 1:4 call rotation — backup to CNMs

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Clinic backup (unassigned patients) and hospital call only
• 35–50 deliveries per month
• On-site team includes CNMs and 3 other OBs

Schedule

• 7 consecutive days per month required to present
• Monday to Friday, 8a–5p with call
• Ongoing monthly blocks available

Cases and Procedures

• VBACs and some high-risk pregnancies
• ED call includes 1–3 primary shifts per month

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California license required
• ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications
• 30-minute response time for call

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage reimbursed
