Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician - Locums in California
This coastal OB/GYN locums assignment is based in San Luis Obispo, California.
Highlights
- Up to full-time assignment
- Mix of clinic backup and hospital call
- 1:4 call rotation — backup to CNMs
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Clinic backup (unassigned patients) and hospital call only
- 35–50 deliveries per month
- On-site team includes CNMs and 3 other OBs
Schedule
- 7 consecutive days per month required to present
- Monday to Friday, 8a–5p with call
- Ongoing monthly blocks available
Cases and Procedures
- VBACs and some high-risk pregnancies
- ED call includes 1–3 primary shifts per month
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active California license required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications
- 30-minute response time for call
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage reimbursed
