The Opportunity

As we begin a new year of growth, PRMC is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to help build and lead our hospitalist program. This full-time, employed position offers broad clinical exposure, professional autonomy, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a close-knit community.

You will serve as a frontline provider caring for patients across the acute care continuum, including Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department cases (ED staffed 24/7 by APPs).

Practice Highlights

• Employed hospitalist position in a community-focused hospital

Responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients
• Provide medical management for ICU, Med/Surg, and ED
• Collaborate with APPs, nurses, specialists, and care teams
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support emergency responses (codes and rapid response)

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
• Kansas medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA
• Hospital experience preferred; ICU/ED experience a plus
• Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time employed position
• Flexible block scheduling: 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
• Competitive salary based on experience
