The Opportunity
As we begin a new year of growth, PRMC is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to help build and lead our hospitalist program. This full-time, employed position offers broad clinical exposure, professional autonomy, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a close-knit community.
You will serve as a frontline provider caring for patients across the acute care continuum, including Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department cases (ED staffed 24/7 by APPs).
Practice Highlights

Responsibilities
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients
- Provide medical management for ICU, Med/Surg, and ED
- Collaborate with APPs, nurses, specialists, and care teams
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Support emergency responses (codes and rapid response)
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
- Kansas medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA
- Hospital experience preferred; ICU/ED experience a plus
- Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time employed position
- Flexible block scheduling: 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
- Competitive salary based on experience
