    The Neonatologist will be responsible for comprehensive care of newborns in a Level II NICU, including: 

    • Providing care to newborns requiring Level II NICU support 
    • Attending high-risk and C-section deliveries 
    • Covering a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable 
    • Rounding in-house during the day 
    • Taking call from home overnight 
    • Working in a collaborative environment with nurses and allied staff 
    • Contributing to quality improvement and care coordination initiatives 
    • Supporting newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed 

    Certification Requirements

    • Board Certified
    • Board Eligible

    State License Requirements

    • Georgia
