The Neonatologist will be responsible for comprehensive care of newborns in a Level II NICU, including:
- Providing care to newborns requiring Level II NICU support
- Attending high-risk and C-section deliveries
- Covering a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable
- Rounding in-house during the day
- Taking call from home overnight
- Working in a collaborative environment with nurses and allied staff
- Contributing to quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
- Supporting newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed
Certification Requirements
- Board Certified
- Board Eligible
State License Requirements
