The Edward B. Singleton Department of Radiology at Texas Children’s Hospital is recruiting a full-time, BC or BE, pediatric body radiologist. The North Austin Campus, the new state of the art 60-bed children’s and women’s hospital that opened in February 2024, provides a full scope of care for both pediatric and women’s services.

Texas Children’s Hospital, listed on the Best children’s Hospitals 2024-2025 honor roll by the U.S. News & World Report survey, is the largest children’s hospital system in the USA with 959 licensed beds.

What we offer:

• Base Salary + Annual Performance Bonus + Annual Base Salary Merit Increases
• Additional payments for emergent procedural pager call
• Voluntary option for paid remote weekend shifts
• No required overnight call (new EC Division with 6 dedicated faculty covering evening and overnight call shifts, 7 days/week and 365 days/year)
• Compensatory off-schedule days in-return for weekend shifts
• 100% clinical pediatric position, with option to actively participate in academic opportunities
• Pediatric Body imaging only (no Neuro, no IR) with exposure to all aspects of pediatric care; and dedicated faculty covering subspecialty focus areas of MSK, Cardiac, & Fetal. Additional subspecialty expertise or interest, especially MSK and Cardiac are welcome
• Hybrid balance of on-site and at-home rotations (all faculty/fellows have HWS with excellent work-life balance)
• 32 Vacation Days + 1 “My Day” + 13 Meeting Days
• Employer retirement contributions totaling up to 9.5%
• $5,000 annual Academic Fund (supports meeting expenses, professional society dues)

Qualifications:

• Must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Body Radiology.
• Must be Board Certified/ Board Eligible in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology or another relevant certification board in your home country.
• Must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas medical license
