Anesthesiologist needed in Cedar Rapids, IA-$350+/hour + Travel and Lodging

📍 Location: Iowa 📆 Start Date: As soon as credentialed 🗓️ Credentialing Timeframe: ~4 weeks with an active IA or IMLC license 📋 Contract Length: Ongoing ⏱️ Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in anesthesiology

🏥 Practice Environment:

• 13 ORs at the main hospital
• 5 Endoscopy suites
• 2 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (within 10 miles of the hospital)
• EMR: Epic

📈 Case Load & Details:

• ~1,200 total cases/month
• ~700 trauma cases/year (mostly blunt/agricultural trauma – major trauma routed elsewhere)
• All general surgical cases and bread-and-butter procedures
• Very limited heads and hearts
• No infancy/very young pediatric cases
• Peds are limited to ENT (tubes & tonsils), appendectomies, and ortho procedures in older children

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology
• Active Iowa license or IMLC eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Must be open to working across all sites
