We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our hospital-employed behavioral health team. This adult inpatient-only opportunity is backed by a well-established support structure, highly experienced nursing staff, and an extensive network of community resources designed to reduce readmissions and ensure excellent continuity of care.

You will be joining a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers (APPs), social workers, care coordinators, and case managers dedicated to delivering top-tier psychiatric care.

**Practice Highlights**

  • 100% Adult Inpatient: Focus entirely on inpatient psychiatric care in a dedicated hospital setting.
  • High-Volume Unit: 40-bed behavioral health unit with an average daily census of approximately 38 patients.
  • Exceptional Support: Work alongside an experienced RN staff exclusively dedicated to behavioral health.
  • Technology: Fully integrated Cerner EMR.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Supervision of APPs is expected, with an exciting opportunity to participate in teaching our Internal Medicine residents.

  • Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off preferred (traditional schedules can also be considered based on candidate preference).
  • Call Details: Inpatient call and on-unit coverage.
  • Low Impact: Call is primarily phone-based. Physicians are rarely required to come into the hospital after hours; occasional in-person call is strictly limited to emergency department psychiatric needs.
