Outstanding BC/BE Neonatologist Opportunity in Florida’s Palm Beach County
Nicklaus Children's Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the health system’s physician-led multispecialty group practice, have an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) fellowship-trained neonatologist with a minimum of three years of experience (preferred) for an established and respected Level II NICU located in Palm Beach County.
About the Division of Neonatology
Join a comprehensive perinatal and neonatal program for babies in a Level II NICU in a burgeoning market. Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children. The BC/BE neonatologists will be responsible for:
· attending deliveries
· 3,000 + deliveries per year
· providing prenatal consultations to high-risk babies
· resuscitating and stabilizing newborns in the delivery room
· rounding on well babies, as well as provide leadership, oversight and supervision in the Level II nursery
· providing 15 days/month
· Live within 30 miles of hospital
Candidates should be proficient in
· newborn resuscitation, including neonatal intubation
· umbilical line placement and peripheral cannulation
· lumbar punctures, etc.

The Level II NICU is part of the NCPS Section of Neonatology and the neonatologists will have access to the educational and professional development resources of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
