Job Summary:

Vitruvian Health (formerly Hamilton Health Care System) and Peeples Cancer Institute (PCI) are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing multidisciplinary oncology team. PCI is the region’s largest and most advanced cancer facility, a newly constructed, 46,000 sq. ft., four-story building housing state-of-the-art technology and a compassionate team delivering comprehensive cancer care under one roof.

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based oncology care in a collaborative, academic, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers to deliver coordinated cancer care
• Participate in clinical trials and maintain affiliation with the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University
• Engage in teaching and lecturing opportunities with Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based care
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
• Interest in academic medicine and resident education preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Team includes: 1 full-time Medical Oncologist, 3 Radiation Oncologists, 1 Radiologist, and 4 Nurse Practitioners
• Facility includes: 26 infusion bays, 9 clinical exam rooms, on-site radiation oncology, and same-day laboratory services
• EMR: EPIC
