This OB Hospitalist assignment is built around true shift work with no call responsibilities and a strong need for night coverage.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient OB and GYN hospitalist coverage
• OB emergency department evaluations, labor management, deliveries, and gynecologic consults
• Adult OB and GYN patient population
• Supported by in-house anesthesia, neonatology, certified nurse midwives, and hospital-based specialty teams

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts with greatest need on nights
• Typically 6-10 night shifts per month
• Fully onsite coverage model
• No call responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active California license required
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Travel accommodations coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
