  • Job Summary:

    The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a full-time faculty member for the role of Anatomic Pathology Faculty – Open Rank. The successful candidate will join a subspecialty academic anatomic pathology service in a dynamic hospital and academic environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide subspecialty academic anatomic pathology services at major clinical sites.
    • Collaborate closely with clinicians and surgeons within a subspecialty sign-out system.
    • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and observers.
    • Engage in clinical, translational, or basic research, and collaborate with basic science or clinical investigators.
    • Contribute to departmental leadership, quality improvement, and outreach initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • MD or DO (or equivalent) with eligibility for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology.
    • Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty, neuro, or cytopathology preferred.
    • Strong clinical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, enthusiasm, and commitment to academic medicine.

    Work Environment & Schedule:

    • Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with experience.
    • Primary location at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, part of the MCW clinical enterprise with access to cutting-edge clinical services, research laboratories, and educational programs.
