Spine Surgeon, Neuro-Trained MD

SpineSearch is working with a leading neuroscience program near Hartford, CT area and is seeking a Neurosurgery-trained Spine Surgeon to join its expanding team. The incoming physician will step into immediate clinical volume, focusing on complex spine procedures, with the opportunity to further grow and help develop a high-volume spine program in collaboration with program leadership. The existing spine service currently performs 1,200+ cases annually with continued growth expected.

This role offers access to a highly integrated neuroscience environment with multidisciplinary collaboration across specialties including movement disorders, epilepsy, pain management, physiatry, and physical therapy. The program is supported by advanced surgical technology, dedicated neurosurgery operating rooms, specialized neuroscience inpatient units, and a dedicated neuroscience ICU staffed by neurocritical care physicians and advanced practice providers. Additional support includes nurse navigators, experienced OR staff, and a well-developed clinical infrastructure.

Opportunities for teaching and research are available through collaboration with an affiliated academic medical program and established residency programs, along with access to dedicated research resources and clinical support staff.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Spine fellowship training preferred
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
• Strong interest in complex spine surgery and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and patient-centered approach to care
