Job Summary
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is an award-winning public health system nationally recognized for innovation and community excellence. We are seeking a Non-Operative Orthopaedic Physician to join our Department of Orthopaedics. This role focuses on non-operative sports medicine with an emphasis on spine care, serving a diverse patient population across pediatric and adult age ranges.
CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, offering a unique opportunity to combine clinical care, teaching, and academic engagement within a mission-driven health system.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary range: $255,000–$290,000, based on years of experience
- Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive

Key Responsibilities
- Provide non-operative orthopaedic and sports medicine care with a focus on spine conditions
- Evaluate and treat pediatric through adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team across orthopaedics, primary care, and specialty services
- Document patient care using a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record
- Participate in teaching medical students and residents
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with CHA’s mission and community focus
- Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE)
- Practice locations: Everett Hospital and Cambridge Hospital
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No call
- Outpatient, non-operative sports medicine practice
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, or related specialty
- Demonstrated commitment to serving underserved, multicultural, and socio-economically diverse populations
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to teaching and academic engagement preferred
Academic Appointment
- Eligible for a Harvard Medical School appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor
- Academic rank determined by HMS criteria, qualifications, and teaching commitment
