Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join our well-established and collaborative practice in Lutz (Tampa Bay area).

Position Highlights:

  • Primary Location: St. Joseph’s Hospital-North in Lutz, FL

  • Level II NICU with 7 beds
  • Daytime rounding and evening call from home

  • Additional Rotations: St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, FL

  • Level IV NICU with 76 beds
  • Over 1,000 NICU admissions and 5,000 births annually
  • In-house coverage

  • Optional Coverage Opportunities: Additional shifts available at other hospitals within the Tampa Bay network
  • Our Team

  • 16 Neonatologists
  • 5 Neonatal Hospitalists
  • 14 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
  • Collaborative care model with pediatricians and NNPs for normal newborn coverage
