Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage in concentrated 7–10 day stretches
• Typical OR start around 7:00–7:30am; day commonly wraps up around 5:00pm when not actively in cases
• Weekend rounding supported by an APP
• Great fit if you prefer fewer handoffs and clear start/stop blocks rather than scattered shifts

Cases and Procedures

• Primary coverage includes surgical cases, inpatient consults, and CVICU post-op rounding

Requirements

• Must be an MD/DO
• Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• Minimum 24 months of experience
