Experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon| Upper Peninsula Michigan | No Call

• Seeking an experienced General Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join an established medical group in Escanaba, MI
• Large patient-based practice with referral from OSF Medical Group
• Clinic hours are M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• No call requirements
• Epic EMR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in Michigan or able to obtain state licensure.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of practice experience in General Orthopedic Surgery or Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
• Willingness to and experience in working collaboratively with an Advanced Practice Provider colleague
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
