Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Wellstar Medical College of Georgia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing advanced catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases in infants, children, and adolescents. This role combines clinical care, teaching, and research within a vibrant academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and interventional management of pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart diseases. * Perform a wide range of catheter-based procedures including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, device closures, and other advanced interventional techniques. * Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. * Participate actively in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. * Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancing the field of pediatric interventional cardiology. * Maintain detailed documentation and comply with institutional policies, quality, and safety standards. * Participate in departmental and hospital committees as required.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
  • Fellowship training and board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in [State].
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to academic medicine and multidisciplinary collaboration.
