*Interventional Cardiology locums coverage opportunity in New Mexico with a mix of inpatient, clinic, and procedural work with ongoing need. *
Practice Setting
- Inpatient + outpatient coverage (clinic and hospital-based consults)
- Clinic volume typically 15–20 patients per day
- Inpatient consults generally 2–5 per day (procedure volume varies)
- Clinic schedule adjusts around procedure needs and is flexible for the right candidate
Schedule
- Coverage blocks typically 7–10 days per month
- Ongoing need until a permanent hire is in place
- Start timeframe is ASAP w/ temp privileges allowed w/ clean background
Cases and Procedures
- Cardiac catheterizations
- AICD/pacemaker inserts and changes
- TEEs
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Active New Mexico license required (cannot wait for license)
