PA/ACNP Opening with Trauma Surgery at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson

Banner - University Medicine Tucson seeks a dynamic and team-focused Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Trauma team at Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT). BUMCT is the only accredited Level 1 Trauma Center serving the Southern Arizona community with exceptional patient care and empathy. Our advanced providers are continually learning, adapting, and detail-oriented in managing our community's trauma and acute general surgery patients via a respectful and transparent setting.

The ideal candidate enjoys learning and sustains the established processes in their clinical management of patients, performing therapeutic/diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. Our division is committed to partnering with team members for leadership and career development opportunities. This position is also open to collaborative, highly motivated new grads with patient care or EMS experience that enjoy a fast-paced team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ
• BLS certification is required/TNCC or ATLS certification is preferred
• Experienced with surgical patient care, or EMS experience is a plus

Work Schedule:

M-S | 4-10 Hour Shifts | Day and Mid-Shift Opportunities Available
