OB Hospitalist Needed in California - Day Shift Call Only, Ongoing Assignment

Locums Obstetrics coverage in California with daytime only in house call and no overnight responsibility. Ongoing need for 3 to 4 shifts per week, with flexibility on which days you cover.

Highlights

• Daytime coverage only, no overnight call needed or available
• Ongoing 3 to 4 days per week, flexible on which days
• Manageable inpatient OB volume, 1 to 3 deliveries per day
• Strong backup, full hospital team with MFM and NICU support

Schedule

• Ongoing coverage need starting mid December 2026
• 3 to 4 days per week, flexibility on which days you work
• In house call runs 7a to 7p daily

Cases and Procedures

• Inpatient deliveries, C sections, VBACs
• 1-3 deliveries per day (5k annual census but there’s another OBHospitalist team that handles the majority of cases)
• Handle deliveries for clinic patients only

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• California license required, will not wait for license
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
