Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient breast imaging
• Full range of screening and diagnostic breast imaging
• Supported by a dedicated team of radiologist MDs, mammographers, and rad techs
• Volume is guided by modality and setting, remote physicians define an RVU pace they can sustain in an 8 hour day

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage, full time need with consideration for less than full time
• Shifts structured as 8a to 4p or 8a to 5p
• Assignment is built around a 3 to 6 month commitment

Cases and Procedures

• Onsite includes biopsies, localizations, breast MRI, and ultrasound

Technology and Workflow

• Epic for charting, Merge PACS with PowerScribe for interpretation and dictation

Credentialing

• Onsite credentialing can begin with the imaging center in about 1 month, with hospital credentialing typically about 3 months

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Radiology
• New York medical license required, unable to wait for a license
