  • Job Summary: We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established and collaborative team of 11 faculty physicians, 17 Advanced Practice Providers, and fellows within our Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. This position offers a balanced blend of clinical and academic responsibilities, with a strong focus on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents with hematologic and oncologic conditions
    • Deliver specialized care to patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
    • Dedicate approximately 50% of clinical time to bone marrow transplantation services
    • Allocate 30% of clinical time to pediatric hematology or oncology based on candidate interest and expertise
    • Utilize 20% protected non-clinical time for academic pursuits, research, quality initiatives, or program development
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Participate in teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program advancement within the division
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

    Qualifications: • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology • Demonstrated experience caring for pediatric patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice • Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills • Commitment to academic excellence, multidisciplinary care, and patient-centered outcomes
