Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital setting
- 170-bed facility with adult patients only
- Closed ICU coverage
- Strong support from APPs, specialists, and hospitalists
Schedule
- Friday to Sunday, 8a–5p
- Just 1 weekend per month; ideal for supplemental income
- No call requirements
Cases and Procedures
- High-acuity ICU patients
- Must be proficient with vents, lines, chest tubes
- Requires comfort in CVICU environments
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- California license required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA required
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
- Mileage reimbursed if driving in
