Position Summary

We are seeking to add a motivated Breast Imager to our well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska! This is a full-time, onsite or hybrid (remote/onsite) opportunity, offering generous compensation, and full benefits (valued at over $100k!) including malpractice insurance, disability and health insurance / HSA, 401K and CME allowance.

• Onsite & Hybrid (onsite/remote) options:
• Hybrid – 4-6 weeks onsite required every 6 months (8-12 weeks annually). May live and work anywhere in the United States while remote, but work hours will be in Alaska time zone.
• Salary: $750k-$800k onsite | $550k hybrid + $100k benefits package
• Sign on bonus: $50k or fellowship stipend
• Schedule M-F, 8am-5pm 11am-7pm or 2pm-10pm
• Occasional (2-3 per year) weekly rotations on Kodiak Island, an idyllic island community medical center with high quality oceanfront housing provided by practice
• Weekend commitment depends on Associate vs Partnership (onsite) track; Associates contribute 4 Sat-Sun weekends per year (8 shifts) which are 7am-7pm.
• 80% Breast Imaging | 20% Diagnostic
• Full Spectrum Breast Imaging (we operate three of only four BICOEs in AK) to include screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Contrast Enhanced Mammography, and Breast MRIs.
• Tomosynthesis units at all sites. Newest Hologic stereo/tomo tables with lateral arm. Affirm biopsy capability. Wireless localizations. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Ideally completed a one-year fellowship training, in Breast Imaging or equivalent experience
• MQSA Preferred
• General diagnostic radiology, including X-ray, CT, US, MRI, PET and DEXA
• General radiology procedures such as FNA, US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
• No MSK or Neuro MRI required. Subspecialty readers in the practice for MSK and Neuro and Vascular
