Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Chief of Breast Surgery for the Hackensack University Medical Center. This position is an outstanding leadership opportunity located in a very desirable area of New Jersey with excellent schools and easy access to New York City. The successful candidate will have significant experience and a proven commitment to quality, DEI, outcomes, patient experience, education, and research. Our breast chief will promote departmental growth and build strong relationships while leading an experienced, well-established, successful multi-disciplinary team.
Position Details
- Employed leadership position with competitive compensation and robust flexible benefits package

- Both benign and malignant breast diseases
- Multi-disciplinary team in place
- Support staff – PA’s and APN’s
- Nurse Navigators
- Established Survivorship Program
- Weekly Multidisciplinary breast disease conference

- Close Collaboration with the NIH-designated John Theurer Cancer Center
- Qualification at the Associate or Full Professor level at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
COMPENSATION:
Starting Base Salary: $316,598

Education and Certifications: Degrees attained, residencies, fellowships, board certifications, research, and publications.
Productivity: Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction.
Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
