SSM Health Orthopedics-Wentzville is recruiting for an Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practitioner. SSM Health Orthopedics-Wentzville offers a wide range of services that address the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. Our team of board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians, specially trained nurses and therapists are committed to delivering that exceptional care to our patients. SSM Health Orthopedics-Wentzville is located in a plaza in front of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-Wentzville.

Qualifications:

  • Must have orthopedic surgery experience as an NP or PA post training.
  • Surgical First Assist experience.
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification or PA-C.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri.

Job Highlights:

  • Care for acute and established patients with orthopedic injuries in a clinic and inpatient setting.
  • See clinic patients, perform joint injections, as well as cover as a surgical first assist.
  • Anticipated clinic schedule of three days per week (two days in Wentzville and one day at our Kisker Road location in St. Charles).
  • Provide surgical first assist at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis two days per week.
  • The schedule is Monday-Friday business hours.
  • No Call/No Evenings/No Weekends/No major holidays.
  • Anticipated clinical volume of 15-20 patients per day once onboarded.
  • Join an experienced and dedicated team of Orthopedic Surgeons and APP's.
  • Full support staff in place including MA/RN/LPN/ATC.
  • Strong department onboarding and mentorship.
