As part of the renowned MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.
In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative management.
  • Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices. Position Details:

  • Full-time, 36 hours per week
  • Day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
  • Inpatient-focused role

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred
  • Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care

This position has a hiring range of

USD $115,000.00 - USD $143,619.00 /Yr.

Compensation Details

$115-143k

The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level, etc. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations.
