Orthopedic Surgery APP with Banner Medical Group - Phoenix Metro - West Valley

The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Phoenix Metro - West Valley. We provide care to a varied group of patients with Orthopedic surgical needs. Our PA will support our surgicalist team by seeing patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic, round on patients in the hospital, and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• ACLS/BLS
• Experienced PA w/Orthopedic skill preferred

Practice Details:

• Full-time (7 days on; 7 days off)
• Inpatient/Outpatient position
• Call: Practice Call only (7 shifts per month)
