This facility is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

· Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a - 4:30p

· Practice Setting: Outpatient

· Types of Cases: Looking for a midlevel provider to join our preoperative clinic to perform consults on surgical patients doing risk assessment, information gathering, speaking to patients and writing a full consult note for day of surgery. Report abnormal labs and tests to medical director, answer questions for RN’s in clinic, discuss any patient concerns with medical director. Alert medical director to any logistical issues. Providers will not be in the OR, only in clinic this is not first assist.

· Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

· Certifications Required: Board certification, Basic Life Support

· Licensure Required: Active California license
