Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full or part time BC/BE Dermatologist to join its busy practice. 

 

Description

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York.  The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields. 

 

Job Description & Responsibilities

·         3 Dermatologists, which include a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians

·         Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired

·         25-30 patients per day, 5 clinical days

·         Outpatient practice

·         No Call Requirement

·         Virtual Scribe if desired

·         Full support staff

·         Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location

·         Optional teaching opportunities with Columbia Medical Students and Bassett’s Internal Medicine and Surgical Residents

·         Salary Range: $500,000 - $600,000 per year plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

·         Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

·         Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

·         Group Employed Model

 

Job Qualifications

·         MD, DO or MBBS

·         Board Eligible or Board Certified

·         NYS Licensure

·         BLS Certification Required

·         DEA Required
