  • Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized academic institution, seeks a pediatric otolaryngologist to join our Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

    Position Highlights

    • Clinical Practice: Build robust practice encompassing all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology
    • Academic Role: Teach residents and medical students with faculty appointment at Assistant Professor level or above
    • Research Opportunities: Develop successful research program in academic environment
    • Multidisciplinary Programs: Participate in Pediatric Aerodigestive Program and Craniofacial Center
    • Growth Potential: Expand clinical programs including airway reconstruction and head/neck masses
    • Advanced Facilities: Support 72-bed Level IV NICU, 18-bed PICU with 24/7 pediatric intensivist coverage
    • Department Strength: Join 21 faculty, 8 APPs, 11 audiologists across main campus and 6 regional sites

    Requirements

    Candidates must have completed Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship, be board certified/eligible, and demonstrate strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Pay Range: $380,000 - $500,000 (Total Cash Compensation)

    Compensation Details

    $380-500k

    Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
