  • The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with renal melanoma. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.

    · The Renal Melanoma group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, through cutting edge research trials with a strong focus on immunotherapy, to patients with melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, other non-melanoma skin cancers, and kidney cancers.

    · Focus primarily on ambulatory clinical care of patients with skin and kidney cancers at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.

    · Experience in complex patient care and/or a strong interest in immunotherapy preferred.

    · While a clinical position, this position plays a critical role in enabling research activities.

    · Position is based at the South Lake Union main campus with the possibility of seeing patients at one of Fred Hutch’s community clinics.

    · The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology.

    Applicants must have:

    1. MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
    2. Completion of a fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology (or foreign equivalent)
    3. Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.

    The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on renal melanoma.

    $306-385k

    Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
