Motivated Primary Care Provider needed at Consensus Health Primary Care of Stelton

The Physician operates in a team with other clinic healthcare providers and support staff. The Physician provides patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based, multi-specialty group practice. In addition, the Physician provides diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, while making reasonable and sound medical assessments and treatment plans.

Stelton Position Summary 

​

Location- Piscataway NJ, Middlesex county. Located about 5 minutes off RT 287. 20 minutes from Staten Island, NY and Elizabeth, NJ

 Office Details-The office has 5 exam rooms. Each provider has their own private office. Currently there is 1 full-time MD and 1 part-time MD. A cardiologist and ultrasound technician are available once a week for patients. Shift requirements- Looking for someone full time, 4-5 days a week. Schedule is flexible. 

On Call- Rotation between providers. The office does not round at the hospital.

Patient Demo- 75% Commercial and 25% Medicare.

The duties include, but are not limited to:

• Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Treatment of acute illnesses
• Treatment of acute injuries
• Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene
• Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff
• Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding – and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies.  Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity/PCN (percent net collection) bonuses
• Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding. Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for VBC bonuses
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
