The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Diseases and Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a vascular surgeon for our regional partner location at Blanchard Valley Health System (BVS).
BVS Cardiovascular Care is building upon the heart care services we provide by expanding our cardiology programs and services to include vascular surgery! This is an excellent opportunity to build and grow in practice along with our interventional and noninvasive cardiologists, experienced nurse practitioners, and full support team.
The position offers robust medical and surgical subspecialty support, surgery tie-in dedicated OR, and experienced support staff.
Requirements
· Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), board certified or board eligible in specialization required.
· State of Ohio and DEA licensure
· Competency in technical, clinical and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients
· Practice within the established Medical Center and Physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center
