Neurosurgery Physician Needed (Will License) – Chesapeake, VA

Position: Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon Location: Chesapeake, Virginia Type: 24-hour Call Coverage Schedule: One weekend per month (Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM) Start Date: As soon as credentialed (60-90 days depending on licensure)

🛠️ Clinical Requirements Must be proficient and current in:

Craniotomies

Spine surgeries

Emergent case experience required

No clinic or elective procedures

✅ Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (BE accepted within 5 years of fellowship)

Active VA medical license (or willing to obtain – licensing support available)

BLS/ACLS certification required

VA DEA required

Minimum 2 years of experience

Must have a clean background (dismissed cases are acceptable)

Comfortable functioning independently in high-acuity emergency scenarios
