Interventional Radiologist Needed in MO-Willing to license

🩻 Diagnostic Radiologist – On-Site & Remote Coverage

Location: Missouri & Kansas (Dual-site coverage)

Type: Full-time | On-Site & Teleradiology | Day, Evening, Night & Weekend Shifts

Start Date: August (Preferred)

Assignment Length: Ongoing

• Normal Business Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site preferred)
• Call Coverage: Evenings & Weekends (Remote or On-site)
• Teleradiology: Available for overnight, evening, and weekend shifts
• Flexible Shifts: Daytime, evening, night, and weekend options available
• Facility Type: Hospital-based with dedicated IR suites
• Trauma Level: Not a high-volume of trauma
• Support Staff:
• 24% Physician coverage
• 5% Advanced Practice Providers
• Radiology managers, techs, and nurses at each site
• EMR: EPIC
• PACS: Change/McKesson
• Modality Breakdown: CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound
• Patient Population: Adults
• Avg. Daily Census: Varies by site
• Procedures Supervision: Not required to supervise other healthcare providers
• Angiography (Needle/Catheter)
• Percutaneous Catheter Placement
• Transluminal Peripheral Vascular Therapeutic Intervention
• Percutaneous Biopsy
• Myelography, Arthrography
• Transjugular Liver Biopsy
• Fallopian Tuboplasty
• TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portocaval Shunt)
• Neurointervention & Cerebrovascular procedures
• Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty
• Carotid Stenting
• Image-guided procedures: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy, Drain Placement, Central Venous Catheter Placement

Additional Privileges Include:

• Ultrasound-guided Biopsies (Core & FNA)
• Image-guided Lumbar Puncture
• Joint/Collection Aspirations
• CT/US/Fluoro-guided Joint Injections & Arthrograms
• CT-guided Biopsies (Including Bone Marrow)
• Board Certification: Not required; BC within 2 years of residency acceptable
• Licensure: Willing to license; preference for MO & KS licenses or IMLC eligibility
• Privileging Timeframe:
• Full privileges: ~90 days
• Temporary privileges: Available with minimum 1-week notice (more time preferred)
