Gastroenterology Locums - Flexible Schedule in Virginia

Practice Setting

• Hospital Call and Office/Clinic settings
• Focus on Adult, Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
• Lab and X-Ray services available onsite
• No trauma designation at the facility

Schedule

• Part-Time or PRN Coverage is available
• Block Scheduling available – work multiple consecutive shifts
• Choose dates that work with your schedule; weekend shifts still open
• Immediate need for a short-term assignment

Procedures and Cases

• High-acuity procedural mix with 8 cases per week average
• Required experience in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
• Procedures include Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, and Sigmoidoscopy
• Preferred experience in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
• Involvement in GSI, Hepatology, and RGA cases

Requirements

• Board Certified (REQUIRED)
• Active Virginia State Medical License (REQUIRED)
• Clean Malpractice history required for temporary privileges
• Must be available to cover open shifts to be considered
• Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated Credentialing Turnaround of 90 days
