Weekend IR assignment in Kentucky with routine procedures and a fast start, no weekday responsibilities.
Highlights
- Flexible weekend blocks only; Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am
- No weekday call or clinic
- 30 to 45 day credentialing
Practice Setting
- Outpatient-based facility
- Sole provider coverage with 1 to 2 APPs
- Volume: 4 to 8 IR procedures per day
Schedule
- Friday evening through Monday morning
- Additional weekends available ongoing
- No weekday coverage required
Cases and Procedures
- Routine IR procedures: drain placements, biopsies, steroid injections
- Required: mediport and HD cath placements, angio for GI bleed, embolization, CT/US-guided biopsies
- Optional: ablations, tunneled lines, neph/gallbladder tubes
Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active Kentucky license or IMLC eligible
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage fully reimbursed
- Hospital-owned hotel available with meals provided
