Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Per-Diem Academic Cardiologist to provide patient care, teaching and research. The successful candidate will provide cardiology and non-interventional cardiac care to both inpatients and outpatients, participate in activities of the cardiology section, conduct research and perform academic responsibilities as well as all duties of a staff cardiologist. Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is a highly respected multi-disciplinary team of physicians.

Essential Functions and Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Fellowship training in non-invasive Cardiology
  • One-year practice experience
  • Team oriented, adaptable and comfortable working within a community hospital environment
  • Strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching and clinical skills and desire for translational research
